The ScanTurn Lateral Rotation System is designed to limit the effects of pressure and immobility by providing lateral rotation and subsequent pressure relief.

The degree of tilt and the length of time spent in the tilt position can be programmed to meet the patients clinical and comfort needs, whilst at the same time taking into account the care setting.
​
The mattress has an integral heel cushion which helps improve positioning and heel alignment during rotational therapy and the foam crib provides stable side supports to aid transfer and promote independence where possible.

There is also a CPR facility for rapid deflation. The control unit is user friendly and easy to operate and is equipped with both a lock out facility to prevent inappropriate changes to the settings as well as an audible and visual alarm.
